What is the pricing of the Trane XR-13 model?
I live in the midwest and I’m buying a new AC. It’s a Trane XR-13 model (3-ton). I’m not getting a new indoor coil. The only thing being replaced is the outside AC unit and necessary parts for it.
What is the general price for this?
The indoor coil was replaced a couple of years ago with the furnace (the guy said the coil was fine)
The 2 1/2 ton XR13 compressor & air handler could be installed for about $4100 plus or minus, depending on where you live. I’ve also seen estimates for the 1 1/2 ton system running anywhere from 3500 to 7000. Quite a range I know, but go figure. Guess it’s highly variable. Not sure about a 3 ton.
